Music producer and composer Shiina Nagano announced on Tuesday that he and voice actress/singer Minami Takayama are reuniting as TWO-MIX again this November. The duo have been on hiatus for the past three years.
Nagano added the two could not make a formal announcement before due to Nagano’s health condition and Takayama’s schedule, but “the legendary(?) duo reawaken.” Nagano apologized to fans for making them wait.
The duo are best known for performing theme songs for Mobile Suit Gundam Wingand Detective Conan. Not only did they make cameos in the Detective Conanmanga and anime (where Takayama voices the title character), but their “White Reflection” theme song for Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz inspired the TWO-MIX: White Reflection animated music video from director Kazuya Murata and OLM(Pokémon).
